It’s easy to forget how we speak to ourselves. Especially when we see so much of everyone’s highlight reel on social media.
It’s okay to have a bad day, an off day, a non productive day or a CBF day. You’ll try again tomorrow. And the day after that. And probably the next one too.
As business owners we place so much pressure on ourselves to hustle and work and win. And sometimes we aren’t so nice to ourselves when we don’t.

😎 Schedule all my posts 2 weeks in advance using @latermedia For posting reels I use the Schedule Reels feature in Instagram⁠

😎 Speak to all my clients and let them know I'll be away but I will be available for emergencies (I get to decide what constitutes an emergency 🤣)⁠

😎 Share content calendars (I use a google sheet) with my clients that include captions, hashtags, images, any links, posting times and platforms. This is a great way to keep everyone on the same page and feeling confident.⁠

😎 Make my out of office email reply very specific about what I will and won't respond to (again I get to decide what an emergency *actually* is)⁠

Repurpose your content! ✨
The lifespan of a social media post is about 48 hours. So that thing you posted 3 months ago? Your new followers probably haven’t seen it and your existing followers have forgotten about it.
Find out which posts performed best and repurpose them!
Go to your professional dashboard and choose EITHER Accounts Reached OR Accounts Engaged depending on which metrics you want to analyse.
Then go to Top Content and change the date from the LAST 30 DAYS to The LAST 3 MONTHS. Your posts will appear in order of highest to lowest performing. Click into any post to see more details.

Here’s how you can do it 🔥⬇️
My client is an interior stylist and she was struggling to come up with ideas for enough content. We chose 5 different types of posts so she could post 5 x per week = 20 posts per month
1. A design inspiration post from a designer she admires (resharing and tagging the original creator and talking about why the design resonates with her)
2. A tip or tutorial for her audience on interior styling such as choosing the right rug for your space
3. A fashion or cocktail of the week post 🍸 My client loves fashion and a good cocktail, so this was an easy way to bring some authenticity around her personal tastes.
4. An inspirational or fun quote. This could be a motivational post or a funny meme that she can relate to her work.
5. A photo of her own work to show her style and showcase her services
RINSE AND REPEAT EVERY WEEK. That’s 5 ideas and 20 posts all done and dusted. Drop your 5 ideas into a content calendar and then change the images, hashtags, captions and so forth.
This creates consistency and cohesiveness for your account and you can smash out a month’s worth of posts in 10 minutes not 10 hours.
